Since 2009, we have worked with the NFL Foundation through the NFL PLAY 60 FitnessGram Project to measure and improve student fitness in thousands of schools across the country. The project data has shown students who participate in school-based programs like NFL PLAY 60 have improved cardiorespiratory fitness and lower body mass.

A core component of the program is our NFL PLAY 60 FitnessGram Project Champions, the “boots on the ground” leaders responsible for ensuring the participating schools have the support and resources they need to effectively implement the program in their respective NFL Markets.

Each year, we host a NFL PLAY 60 FitnessGram Project Champions Summit, an event that brings our Champions together to share ideas and receive updates from partner organizations. This year’s summit took place at the MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, where we were joined by New York Giants quarterback Davis Webb, and our partners Fuel Up to Play 60, American Heart Association and EVERFI. Special shout-out and thanks to the New York Giants for making the day extra special!

It was a great day full of learning, fun, and celebration for our Champions.
