Karyn Hughes to Speak at IHRSA Convention in March

The International Health, Racquetball and Sports Association will hold their Annual Convention & Trade Show from March 16-19, 2009 in SaKaryn Hughes, M.Ed., Associate Director of Education & Certificationn Francisco, CA.  Among the multitude of experienced and educated workshop presenters will be The Cooper Institute's own Karyn Hughes who serves as the Associate Director of Education and Certification.

Her workshop, How to Max Your Flexibility & Improve Your Reach: A Scientific Review of Cutting Edge Technologies, will be held on Monday, March 16th from 1:00-4:30pm.  Hughes has a Bachelor of Science from the University of Texas in Kinesiology and a Masters Degree in Education with a major in Psychology of Motor Learning from University of North Texas. Her previous work experience includes Director of Health & Fitness for Texas Instruments, Director of Operations for MOBILEFITNESS, Inc. and a high school teacher and coach.

The IHRSA's convention attracts crowds of high-quality, for-profit businesses operating in the health, racquet and sports club industry each year and serves as the fitness industry's standard when it comes to premium conventions.  There are over 9,100 club IHRSAmembers in over 78 countries and over 700 associate members that belong to the IHRSA.
