Institute Showcases Services at ACSM and IHRSA

In March 2007, The Cooper Institute was pleased to showcase its products and services at both the ACSM Health and Fitness Summit held in Dallas, Texas and the IHRSA Conference held in San Francisco, California. "We were excited to meet a lot of new people and see many familiar faces," said Anna Terry, Tradeshow Manager.

Credentialing Certification Manager, Irene Leverette, said, "The Cooper Institute is committed to striving toward excellence and promoting quality within our field. The ACSM Summit and IHRSA Conference were great venues to share the news of earning our national accreditation through NCCA for The CI-PTr (Cooper Institute Personal Trainer) Examination." NCCA, the National Commission for Certifying Agencies, is the accreditation body of the National Organization for Competency Assurance (NOCA). NCCA approval is considered the 'gold standard of quality' within the fitness industry for certifications.
