
Youth Program Coordinator
Responsibilities include teacher support, communication with multiple audiences, and development and distribution of program resources. This position will also manage timelines, record keeping and partnership relations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.
· Lead communication with participants and builds and maintains relationships with school leaders.
· Works with participants to successfully implement programs in accordance to grant requirements.
· Assist in creating short and long-term programmatic goals.
· Manages timelines to ensure program components are delivered accurately.
· Follows an operational plan that ensures program goals are achieved.
· Develops and manages program-related events and activities.
· Attends community-based events and conferences.
· Collaborates with the evaluation team to examine the impact of the programs.
· Assists with development of divisional social media content.
· Attend school events as appropriate.
Qualifications / Requirements
Education and Experience:
· Bachelor’s degree (B.S., B.A.) or equivalent in health-related field required.
· One or more years experience in project management, or managing grant-funded programs preferred.
· Experience working with diverse populations.
Computer Skills, Licenses and/or Certifications:
· Must have working knowledge of word processing, database management, and graphic presentation software (i.e., Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint).
