Type 2 Diabetes Study

We are conducting a research study of a potential medicine for type 2 diabetes.

Adults aged 18-80 years inclusive with type 2 diabetes who have inadequate blood glucose control and are currently taking metformin are being invited to participate. Participants will receive study medication for 2 years. Throughout the study, there will be approximately 21 to 32 study visits. Study procedures will include:

  • Physical examinations.
  • Vital signs.
  • Electrocardiogram (ECG).
  • Blood and urine collection.
  • Completion of diaries and questionnaires.
  • Home measurement of blood sugar levels using a glucometer.
