QuizBiomechanical principles are the foundation for teaching fitness professionals to select, instruct and perform appropriate resistance training exercises consistent with the structure and function of the human body. This knowledge is necessary to understand the muscle relationships and common structural imbalances which provide the basis for client specific program development. It is expected that fitness professionals have baseline knowledge of the primary muscles and joint actions.

The following assessment will help determine if your current knowledge of anatomy and kinesiology is adequate to meet the recommended course prerequisites for successful completion.
