Course Hours & Needed Items

Below are the recommended items that should be brought to your respective registered class. Also note that rubber sole shoes must be worn in the classroom at all times.

30 Minute Workouts

Course Hours:
Day 1: (8:00 am - 5:00 pm) - CHECK-IN @ 7:15 am

Needed Items:
Please come dressed in workout attire (shorts, warm-ups, t-shirt, tennis shoes).  You may also want to bring a change of clothes due to the vigorous nature of the activity. You will need to bring a #2 pencil and notebook paper.

 

Balls, Bands, and More

Course Hours:
Day 1: (8:00 am - 5:00 pm) - CHECK-IN @ 7:15 am
Day 2: (8:00 am - 5:00 pm)

Needed Items:
Please come dressed in workout attire (shorts, T-shirt, tennis shoes).  You will need to bring a #2 pencil and notebook paper.

 

Biomechanics of Resistance Training

Course Hours
Friday: (1:00 - 6:15 pm) - CHECK-IN @ 12:15 pm
Saturday: (8:00 am - 6:00 pm)
Sunday: (8:00 am - 1:00 pm)

Needed Items:
Notebook paper, #2 pencil for completing test, comfortable work-out clothing, and your valid CPR card

 

Coaching Healthy Behaviors

Course Hours:
Monday-Wednesday: (8:00 am - 5:00 pm) - CHECK-IN Monday @ 7:15 am

Needed Items:
Notebook paper and pencil for note taking and testing. Please wear casual workout attire each day for any physical activity.

 

Fire Service Fitness Specialist

Course Hours:
Monday-Thursday: (8:00 am - 5:30 pm) - CHECK-IN Monday @ 7:15 am
Friday: (8:00am - 12:00 pm)

Needed Items:
Please wear casual workout attire to class each day, including shorts and a t-shirt for body composition testing.  You will need to bring a calculator, a #2 pencil, a notebook, and your valid CPR card.

 

Group Exercise Leadership

Course Hours:
Day 1: (8:00 am - 5:30 pm) - CHECK-IN @ 7:15 am
Day 2: (8:00 am - 5:30 pm)
Day 3: (8:00 am - 2:00 pm)

Needed Items:
Please wear workout clothing.  You will also need to bring a #2 pencil, notebook paper, calculator, and your valid CPR card.

 

Health Promotion Director

Course Hours:
Monday-Thursday: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm - CHECK-IN Monday @ 7:15 am
Fri: 8:00 am - 12:30 pm

Needed Items:
Attire will be casual.  Please bring # 2 pencil, notebook paper, and calculator. Please also bring workout attire, including tennis shoes for physical activity. You may also bring a laptop computer if you choose.

 

Indoor Cycling

Course Hours:
Day 1: 8:00 am - 4:30 pm - CHECK-IN Monday @ 7:15 am

Needed Items:
Please wear appropriate workout attire for cycling.  You will need to bring a #2 pencil, notebook paper, and your valid CPR card.

 

Law Enforcement Fitness Specialist

Course Hours:

Day 2: (8:00 am - 12:00 pm)

Providing Dietary Guidance

Course Hours:
Day 1: (8:00 am - 5:00 pm) - CHECK-IN @ 7:15 am
Day 2: (8:00 am - 5:00 pm)
Day 3: (8:00 am - 2:30 pm)

Needed Items:
You will need a #2 pencil, a notebook, and a calculator.  Please wear casual attire during class.

 

Special Populations and Exercise

Friday (8:00 am - 3:00 pm)

Please come dressed in workout attire, tennis shoes, and bring a swimsuit, towel, sunscreen, aqua socks (if you have them), water bottle, #2 pencil and notebook paper.

 

Weight Management Leadership

Course Hours:
Day 1: (8:00 am - 5:00 pm) - CHECK-IN @ 7:15 am
Day 2: (8:00 am - 5:00 pm)
Day 3: (8:00 am - 3:00 pm)
