Development Staff
Connie Tyne, LMSW
Connie Tyne understands the mission of The Cooper Institute and believes in its important research - past, present, and future. She enjoys being part of a dynamic team that is making a difference in the lives and health of men, women, and children around the world.
With twelve years experience as Director of the Cooper Wellness Program, Connie is well acquainted with many Cooper Clinic patients and Cooper Institute supporters. She has managed the lifestyle behavior modification program and the weight loss programs so she doesn’t shy away from a challenge.
Connie received her Bachelor of Arts degree in education and psychology from Southern Methodist University and her Master of Science from the University of Texas at Arlington. She has a master’s degree in social work and is a licensed psychotherapist. While that might not relate directly to development, Connie says,“It never hurts to have a background in mental health!”
