The Depressed Adolescents Treated with Exercise (DATE) Study is offering a 12-week exercise program with The Cooper Institute to see if exercise is an effective non-medication treatment for depression.

Who Qualifies?  Adolescents, ages 12-17, who are depressed and sedentary, and must be generally healthy and able to exercise.
Exclusions:  Medical conditions that would prevent exercise, current vigorous activity (i.e., sports teams) or concomitant antidepressant therapy.
