The Cooper Institute has formed a women’s Development Advisory Board (DAB) of community leaders for the purpose of expanding the public identity of The Cooper Institute in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. The Development Advisory Board will, among other things, help promote events throughout the year that will heighten the awareness and importance of science-based preventive medicine, healthy lifestyles and wellness across the life span. The Advisory Board will set an example of service and contribute in educating and engaging others in the work of the Institute.
Every year, the DAB hosts a luncheon promoting CI's initiatives. Here are some photos from the 2011 event, Teaming Up for Healthy Kids, featuring NFL great Archie Manning.
